Does Crack Panda come from the Congo? This is a question I have been asking myself, but, I’ll get to that in a bit…
Back in July at Vape Expo I was very excited to see the new range of juices by Button Junkie. I’ll be honest it was a deciding factor as to whether I was gonna go to the show or not. A juice called Crack Panda with ‘Gorillaz styled’ artwork. Thats gonna totally grab my attention and tilt the already pretty tilted scales in favour of making the journey to the N.E.C. I’m glad I did for inside a giant inflatable cube surrounded by clouds, I found the home of the Crack Panda.
Venturing through this post apocalyptic haze into a square cave looking for a panda did make me start to wonder if the coffee I bought on the way in was laced with acid. Then using the power of rationalisation I decided thats fucking stupid, the coffee was way too cheap to have been spiked. Undeterred (although slightly upset) by the revelation that I was indeed sober, it was time to get my crack on.
Peachy, I smiled (then a little cough) the tropical blend teasing the back of my throat. This was quickly followed by a sweet apricot on the exhale leaving a slightly sharp but full bodied tropical fruit crush of a flavour enveloping my entire mouth. There was something very familiar about this taste, like something I had before, possibly when I was younger… Upon smelling the juice it became clear, the reason I’m pondering whether Crack Panda (or C.Piddy as I like to think of him) comes from the Congo is that it makes me think Umbongo. I’m vaping Umbongo and I want more. Add to this the fact that it is a 70VG 30PG blend and I’m chucking out full bodied Congo clouds. I’m beginning to see why the Panda loves/needs his crack.
This is what the lovely people at Button Junkie have to say about it:
Like a used tissue, this Panda discarded bamboo a long time ago. The one and only overriding thought that fills his every waking moment is how to get more of this truly precious e-juice. His screaming tastebuds crave the sweet apricots as they melt and merge with ripe peaches and a mysterious melange of tropical fruits. This wonderous flavour will make any Panda’s fur stand on end.
For those of you who love fruit vapes I’d put this on the must try list, especially if you like a bit of throat hit. I got a good amount of tingle even at 3mg nic. Its a real tropical blast with well balanced tones and not overly sweet, so even in a dripper can be vaped over long periods of time without becoming too sickly.
Also I would like to give the artwork an honourable mention, seriously loving the styling and the square glass dripper bottles are a nice touch. Just wish the dripper was slightly longer but that is a minor grumble. You can always tip the last bit in.
Crack Panda is available exclusively in the UK from ecigwizard.com and will set you back £8.48 for 15ml and £15.49 for 30ml and comes in various strengths 0mg, 1.5mg, 3mg and 6mg.
